St. Barths Newest Standalone, Villa Embrace
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Located on the prestigious natural island of St. Barthelemy, Villa Embrace is a benchmark in global luxury. The project, sited in the town of Gustavia, is a custom designed villa, which took 12 years to complete. On an exposed mountainside site, Villa Embrace by Architectonik offers a place of refuge that balances feelings of privacy and convenience with expansive panoramic views over the infamous yacht-filled harbor.
The architects designed Embrace according to environmental factors such as local weather and surrounding nature. Drawing inspiration from the island, the exterior is designed with wall stone found directly on site. Traditional St. Barth architecture is incorporated through Swedish roofing and Caribbean ceilings. The interiors boast white oak flooring, bleached European oak and taupe eucalyptus with matching stone- all in keeping with the sea and ocean. Much of the glass art pays homage to water and waves.

Inside the villa nature resumes its rights: lush foliage, waterfall, topiary garden and a living wall. To get Unique features can be found throughout the property. It is designed with an underground 10-car park, accompanied by a private road leading to the owner’s suite, an indoor garden and waterfall and a glass elevator. A fully equipped gym, outdoor spa, movie and games rooms compliment the typical Caribbean villa with the luxury of a New York penthouse.
An in house butler is available 24/7 to fulfill anything you may need. Add a private chef, daily housekeeping service and obviously a state-of-the-art security system. Breakfast is served every morning The main dining area features Casa Fendi bar stools and a custom, nautical-inspired table from Italy’s Barbarini & Gunnell. Detailed with Vladimir Kagan armchairs, the Games Room is perfect for passing hours while exploring the 8-game custom leather table, designed by the owners of the villa and fabricated by T.T.Trunks. Set on the top floor, a well-appointed office commands attention with custom furnishings including an impressive black nutwood and leather desk and private bar by Knoll.
The living spaces to gather, dine or relax are incredible. The Great Room, the Family Room or the Games While architectural firm Architectonik, known for designing the Eden Rock Hotel, took lead on the project, Kevin Ouvre of KO Concept Group designed the landscape. Due to the level of custom-finishings in the villa, the design team brought on mega-yacht finishers, Atelier Paul Champ. UK interior designer Oliver Holt of Unbranded Company and Canadian designer Lisa Duxbury of Glenat Duxbury led on interiors. UK-based company, STILEMAN, handled the lighting and Otis Design Group created the glass elevator.
